I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH; AND THE GATES OF HADES SHALL NOT PREVAIL! By Da Effiong Daniel African Holy land Akwa Abasi Ibom state Nigeria Jesus Christ said this concerning his Church," I will build my church; and the gates of hades shall not prevail! There was a case of a prophets from my village one day I met him at Ikot Ekpene .we ate at one table where we were .He kept his assignment bag on the chair and as i wanted to sit down I took it up ,kept where he sat .Let me tell you ,It was God that help me out that day. I have never seen a furious and an angry man like that before for something he would have told me thanks .He shouted at me at the peak of his voice and I was ashamed .He would have slapped me if not that there were others including a police officer. But what was my offense ? I am not qualify to touch his bag. what was inside the bag ? Some soaps,candles,oils and others for assignment in Eket . According to those that know that he has been going out doing doing assignment for people.when I confronted him to really know my offense.He said I have spoiled something for him for touching the bag. Who am to spoil something for you? And what have i spoiled ? What are in the bag that has broken tell me I will pay for it .Then I never know What I carried can spoil something for this prophet but what kind of prophet? Find out for yourselves. That same week it was revealed that the gates of Hades has prevail against him as he went to Eket for assignment at a particular shrine.According to my source ,he told the people that he would go and deliver a certain family from the power of the shrine in their village for a fat sum of money. The power of darkness from that shrine swallowed him up and he died and was buried there according to the law of that shrine .A prophet went for deliverance of a family but the shrine killed and buried him . Have you seen something different,but Jesus Christ said,I will build my church and no gates of Hades shall prevail against it. Remembered before he left .he said you have spoiled something for me.my question is can the hand of a child of God on demonic things spoiled them? Yes! every child of God is carrying the destroyer of the works of the devil within.So as he touches the in unclean things,it spoiled but as he touches the clean things he blessed. " And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Only the power of the highest with is the power of resurrection is the power that handles the power of darkness which is manifested in the power of graves i.e. the gates of Hades ." Matthew 16:17-19 Here is a different case when God send Dr. Farrar ,a medical missionary to the shrines' in my family he never come with oil,water,candles etc etc.but with the word of God and the shrine exploded and the people said that the white man has gunshot thier gods dead and the shrine never swallowed him but what He came with swallowed the shrine and until now the shrine is no more. Jesus Christ came through Dr Henry Farrar to, IKOT Afid Ikot Nsekong Abiakpo Ikot Abasi Inyang to build his church like Caesarea Phillipi, where Yeshua (Jesus) revealed himself as Messiah to His disciples, was home to the Temple of Pan, a place so demonic that many of the rituals performed there are too horrible to mention in a daily devotion. Here where Jesus Christ revealed himself in Africa .As that city was the city of gods this village was like the city of gods with more than 50 divinities worshipped by the people in different days .that is why it was called Ikot Afid,family of shits because of the dirty things of those sacrifice filled everywhere in the land smelling and because of some nonsense ritualistic laws some family until now don't have toilet but shits everywhere in the bush. The city sits at the foot of Mount Hermon, which was known as the ‘Rock of the Gods’, referring to the many shrines built against it. At the foot of Mount Hermon sat the temple of Pan, the ruins of which can still be seen there. In the rear of the temple was a cave with a deep pool (which also remains there) from which spring water flowed. Ancient Pagans believed that the water symbolized the abyss, and that the cave was a door to the underworld. The cave at the rear of the temple was considered the ‘Gate of Hades’ because it was believed that Baal would enter and leave the underworld through it. God only knows what kind of spiritual activity passed through this realm of darkness. This village was like that before Christ came through his messengers with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Just like it was in Israel where Jesus revealed himself as the messiah was the most demonic place in Israel,and that Jesus chose to reveal, through Peter's spirit inspired proclamation, that He was Messiah, the Son of God. And it was in this place of repugnant darkness and spiritual degeneracy that the Lord announced His intention to build His "Church" (or "congregation"). And it was in this " Hell hole" that He gave us the assurance, "The Gates of Hell will NOT prevail against it." The church of Christ was planted where evil dwells in this village to proclaim and represent the Lord of Light. But in the case above, that fake prophet was buried at the shrine where we suppose the gates of Hades and it opened and swallowed him. And we seem to be witnessing an advance of evil in this world that is unprecedented, and is becoming a "flood" reminiscent of the "Days of Noah". How precious and vital are the Lord's words, "The Gates of Hell will NOT prevail..." From that time till now in my village the church of Christ which represents the gates of heaven stands . Not only the physical claiming church of Christ but the spiritual whom Evang Eyara before he died said we have two churches of Christ the physical and the spiritual. Which I believe Jesus Christ declared that no gates of Hades shall prevail against the church was talking about the spiritual church of Christ because the gates of Hades are demonic entities.therefore Believing those words of Jesus Christ, we will stand, every day, and we will overcome the power of Satan, by faith, especially as we continue to pray as He taught us, "Deliver us from evil." Not in our own strength or power – but in the power of God given to all His children through His Son!
