TWINS SEEN AS DESTROYERS OF IKPAISONG AND OTHERS DEITIES IN AFRICANS' By EFFIONG DANIEL “Fall of many and rising of many in Israel and a sign that will be spoken against.”( luke2;34) Twins were seen as destroyer of Juju in the tradition of the Efik / Ibibio / Annang/ Ngwa people. The Ikpaisong Priests and other priests saw twins as “Spoilers of Juju”. According to research reports, “Twins' were special powerful people from God hence their presences bring danger to the gods of the land “ It is also revealed that no matter how powerful the concoction or the Juju may be when twins born into the family or come nearer or touch , the power of the juju will not work again hence the priests and “Ikpaisong” deity rejected the twins or don't want to see them around. What a paradox? Ikpaisong deity don't want twins and destroy twins for destruction of his power or strength in the land of Africa. Those who destroy Jesus Christ didn't want for destroying their laws yet they never know that they were destroying themselves by their actions. The dead of twins or crucifixion of twins means destruction or dead of the Ikpaisong the twins loathed deity in Africa.Now Jesus Christ lives and reigns supreme over all .more so Ikpaisong is dead or has been reduced to nothing but twins are alive now. In the context of this work, we saw that the birth of Jesus Christ was according to Simeon prophetic words. "This child is set for the Fall of many and rising of many in Israel and a sign that will be spoken against.”( luke2;34) "The twins and their mothers were in those days 'a sign that was spoken against in the Efik/Ibibio /Annang/ some ngwa land. TWINS, THE REAL JUJU SPOILER. 21st Jan., 2022, at about 9am while researching, two young men came to me, one was a known person but the other was not. Now if one chase a thousand, two or then put ten thousand to flight and their Rock is God.” According to the scripture, “The Rock that begot the twins is God”. (Deut. 32:17-18), He defended them in their lonely wilderness in the forest. Ikpaisong and their priests looked at them as evil with evil power that destroyed or neutralized or destroyed their powers but never knew nor really understand that the power that came with twins, was the power of God, the power or innocent that chase away thousand, and ten thousand or demons in Africa hence rendered the juju priest impotent ,this was God sovereign strategy. When Jesus was born, there was trouble in the land because a spiritual king, that all powers submitted was born. When the astrologers told the king, trouble started someone that look over the spiritual authority is born, hence he destroyed the children, but Jesus was taken to Africa where all the demonic intelligence saw him as a twin’s man but the people saw him as a child. The word of God says of “hath the princes of this world knew they wouldn’t have crucified the lord glory”(1coth.2;8) God hid the wisdom from ikpaisong and their priests, now in the very heart of Ikpaisong of Africa where the Clan head of the whole Ikot Abia Clan originated in Ikot Nsekong, Abiakpo Ikot Abasi Inyang twins were hidden, unknown to any of them but few.
