GOD WILL NOT DANCE TO YOUR TUNE By Da Effiong Daniel Your drums will not force him to dance He will not even come there In spite of the invitation you give He will not dance to your tune. You may beat the best of drums You may parade the best of choir You may sing the best of his praises He does not dance to your tune. He will not be moved to dance your tune Even though you sing with angelic voice Or dressed with angelic wings You cannot deceive him but men. Satan sings more than you do now. Despite soft and melodic tones Despite harps, symbol with Davidic beats Despite claps, dance and emotional alarm He will not be moved to dance with you. You may build a church or a cathedral It may be more or less a tomb or grave of Christ He may not be there because he is risen What you have there may be empty grave. Many may assume that he is there Because they have seen the cloth that was wrapped Some even entered to see the angels in it And be satisfied with that without Christ. Some believe in shouting his name Lord Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Unknown He can’t be moved by a shout But holiness brings him back to you. Nothing else can draw him back to you Than to be holy because he’s holy He can’t hear you nor nearer to you “Cause your iniquities have cut you from him. Stop noise making and search yourself Your sins have made you the devil’s child Your claim to be the child of God is false For children of God cannot sin because of his seed. Stop pretense and start afresh He is ready waiting for you He is righteous so must you, If you want to enter into his throne. God will not dance to you tune In spite the invitation you give to him Only men can you draw to your dance He will come to dance with you.
