A HEAVENLY WARNING FOR THE AFRICAN HOLY LAND: A PROPHETIC VISION OF FIRE AND MERCY
Da Effiong Daniel
THE CONFRONTATION IN UYO
On September 23rd last year 2025 , after the spiritual declaration against Ikpaisong the Dead God was made in Uyo, a physical manifestation of opposition arose. A woman approached with threats and warnings: “This kind of thing that touched the land of Akwa Ibom must not happen. I will inform the police and government.” While some pleaded with her, the spiritual confirmation was clear: the foundational altar of Akwa Ibom State had been touched.
When darkness reacts so fiercely through human agents—through threats of legal and governmental retaliation—it reveals one truth: the spiritual decree had hit its target. The woman represented more than herself; she embodied the protective spirit over that ancient altar, now shaken.
THE VISION OF THE AWARD CEREMONY
Upon returning, God gave me a dream—a heavenly intelligence report for the people of God.
In the vision, there was a grand award ceremony. The place was beautifully decorated. Dignitaries, officials, and important guests had gathered. The program began.
Suddenly, Olumba Olumba Obu arrived in a procession of three carts. He rode in the middle cart—the second one. As he stepped down, something shocking happened: All the dignitaries, government officials, and gathered authorities went and knelt down before him. They worshipped him as if he were divine.
We watched from a distance, strangers in that place. I thought: If here, in public view, they bow like this to a man, what happens in his private chambers? What worship occurs behind closed doors?
THE FIRE FROM HEAVEN
Suddenly, the anger of God arose from heaven.
Fire descended and scattered the entire gathering. The fire came like smoke covering the ground—spreading, consuming, reaching even to where we stood watching.
We began to pray desperately. I called others to cry out for mercy for the land. We prayed with tears, with brokenness, with urgency.
And as we prayed, the anger of God began to withdraw—slowly, gradually—until I awoke.
THE MEANING OF THE VISION
1. The Award Ceremony symbolizes societal honor, recognition, and the legitimization of a spiritual influence by earthly authorities.
2. The Procession and Kneeling reveals a deep, alarming truth: Political, traditional, and religious authorities are welcoming and worshipping a spiritual power that claims divinity. This is not merely respect; this is idolatry being institutionalized.
3. The Fire of God’s Judgment is Heaven’s response to the worship of the creature rather than the Creator (Romans 1:25). God does not share His glory with another.
4. The Smoke Covering the Ground signifies that divine judgment affects not only the central figure but the entire system that endorses such worship. No bystander is completely innocent.
5. The Prayer for Mercy reveals our assignment: Intercession holds back the full force of judgment. When we pray, God’s anger recedes. When we remain silent, the fire spreads.
THE SPIRITUAL IMPORTATION
I understood upon waking: Something is being imported into our state and our region—a spirit of counterfeit worship, a demand for divine honor—that will be welcomed by authorities. This will provoke the anger of the Lord.
But my assignment was revealed: to mobilize prayer for mercy.
This I failed to do immediately.
Today, I repent of that delay and declare: The time for prayer is now.
OUR PROPHETIC MANDATE
This vision is not given to frighten us, but to awaken us. It carries a twofold message:
A WARNING:
God will not tolerate the worship of any man, system, or spirit in His place. The fire that fell on Herod when he accepted worship (Acts 12:22-23) still burns today. Any altar where humanity bows to creation rather than Creator invites divine judgment.
AN ASSIGNMENT:
We are called to be mercy mobilizers. We are to stand in the gap for our land (Ezekiel 22:30). Our prayers do not go unheard; they hold back wrath and create space for repentance.
A CALL TO THE AFRICAN HOLY LAND
To the spiritual fathers and mothers,
To the intercessors and watchmen,
To the believers who weep for the purity of God’s house:
1. Pray against the spirit of welcomed idolatry—where men are celebrated as gods, and systems demand worship.
2. Pray for our authorities—that God opens their eyes, exposes deception, and raises up righteous leaders who will bow only to Almighty God.
3. Pray for mercy over our land—that God’s kindness would lead to repentance, and that revival would come before judgment.
4. Pray for protection over those who confront ancient altars—spiritual backlash is real, but greater is He that is in us.
5. Pray consistently—this is not a one-day burden. This is a sustained intercessory assignment until the spiritual climate shifts.
THE TIME IS NOW
I have shared this vision with a father of faith in our state, and we are aligning to pray. But this burden is not ours alone. It belongs to every believer who loves this African Holy Land.
Let us not be those who watch from a distance while fire spreads.
Let us be those who pray until the anger of God turns to compassion,
Until the fire of judgment becomes the fire of revival,
Until our land is cleansed not by destruction, but by redemption.
“The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.” (Nahum 1:3)
But He is also “merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.” (Psalm 103:8)
Let us cry out for that mercy.
