Introduction to the work
Henry Farrar at the Abode of the mother of all evil in Africa
By Da Effiong Daniel
When I came back from the National Youth Service Corps in year 2000, I was looking for job and my mother was worried about my joblessness. She went to a seer who told her that it was Ikpaisong that was troubling me. He emphasized to my mother that it would require some sacrifices and prayers to free me from Ikpaisong bondage. I couldn’t believe my mother. Even my father, a renowned traditionalist, contested against such claims. He dismissed it as a blatant lie, arguing that Ikpaisong cannot trouble me. On one occasion, he said: “I have done everything I needed to do. Why must it trouble my son? Tell the seer that I am mum Kama Ikpaisong (custodian of Ikpaisong).”
Another prophetess said the enemy doesn’t want me to get a job as they gave my name to Ikpaisong. She went to a certain place and dug out a black cloth tied into a thick knot. As she untied it, a sheet of paper with about five names including mine was found. I couldn’t believe her. I went to the eldest man in the community to ask what Ikpaisong is all about. Then he narrated to me how my uncle, Udo Ekong Ukpong, brought a white man to the village and he destroyed Ikpaisong. Although it was rumored in the village that afterwards it was Ikpaisong that troubled and killed my uncle. He said we should thank God that Ikpaisong was dead because if it was the time the deity was there many people today would have died, with twins killed while their mothers ostracized. Then I asked about the white man, he said he was from the Churches of Christ. I proceeded to Evang. Ime Eyara who was the resident pastor of the church in my village just to make enquiry about the white man. Eyara said he was Dr Henry Farrar. Then I asked: “What did he do in my family?” He said my uncle brought him and he rebuked Ikpaisong and it exploded. I asked whether he used gun, but he said no. By God’s grace, he mentioned Udo Inyang, and I went to him. This man gave me an eyewitness account on the entire episode. I knew the Church of Christ to be a denomination that does not hold any belief in the miracles but why did Farrar perform miracles? Why did he destroy the most dangerous deity that I was told was my trouble? Then I started prayerfully, studying the Ikpaisong system and Dr. Henry Farrar’s work in my family and the effort yielded fruit and gave birth to this work.
On 30th August 2018, while I was listening to a prophetic message about the Third Wave of the Holy Spirit taking over this generation. God said to me, “Churches that never believe in the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit will begin to see miracles. I am going to use you in this third day for the third day’s message for Africa, and Akwa Ibom is going to be the base. Hear me, I am going to use you. Dr Farrar had planted a seed for the third day in Africa and you are picking up the mantle of responsibility. Therefore arise! As I was with Moses so will I with you. This third wave revival will sweep churches that believed that the wave of the Holy Spirit stopped with the apostles. This is why I say I will speak through you in the Third Day.”
There was nothing back home for me to do but I was sent here from Abuja to begin a ministry. I came back hoping for an opportunity to fulfill the responsibility placed on me by the prophecy. I felt like a deliverer appearing without comeliness as Christ, and he said to me follow my footprint.
God always has a way of doing his will. The entire Abiakpo village was a jungle of evil where all shades of wickedness under the sun was practiced. God decided to send the Holy Spirit so that the land could be liberated from the influence of Ikpaisong, the mother of all deities. Surprisingly, He used Henry Farrar, a man from one of the mainline churches that don’t believe in the manifestations of the Holy Spirit, to confront the powers that held sway in the land.
Dr. Henry Farrar, a man sent from God to save souls in this part of Africa, was thinking his mission to Nigeria in 1964 would be just a medical mission and he came with all the medical equipments. But on his arrival, he discovered that the land was seriously sick with idols and shrines of different appellations. It was revealed to him that for the medical healing to work, he must first of all heal the land with the word of God. He began his African Apostolic mission, preaching at the Ikpaisong shrine first before he was given Ekang hall , a demonic place to plant the seed of the Church of Christ where the most earthshaking, but silent, secret, foundation breaking work of God occurred. He was not a full-time minister of the gospel but a medical missionary that came not from a Pentecostal background but from a church where members are made to belief that work of the Holy Spirit stopped with the apostles. Evidentially, the Holy Spirit took over Farrar on his own “day of his Pentecost” and he entered the most dreadful shrine of Africa, gave the most fiery word of God to Ikpaisong and uncountable legions of demons and explosion with a loud volcanic sound occurred and was heard hundreds of miles away. The people said the white man had shot their gods dead. The encounter did not only mark the beginning of the seventies revival in Africa but it was an event that put a stop to the power that demanded the killings of twins in the land. The African Holy Land that we are seeing and hearing about today was first declared by Dr. Farrar in 1971 when he came back after the Civil War and began land-cleansing (Ufop Nkpo), ridding the community of idols. After Dr. Henry Farrar’s dead in February 2010, that same year, God brought Pastor Andrew Omale, the head of State House Prayer Department for Aso Rock, Abuja, to the land for a jubilee prayer for Nigeria and he officially declared my community the African Holy Land on 28th December 2010 with the planting of Israel and Nigeria flag together.
This book comes with a number of testimonies to confirm that the Holy Spirit is still in action in the contemporary times. In all, the work attempts to put a lie on the claims by some of the mainline Christian denominations maintaining that the miracles of the Holy Spirit ended with the apostles of Jesus Christ. Speaking in tongues, prophesying, and healings are the signs of the Holy Spirit which makes the church very much alive. The absence of the Holy Spirit is an indication that the power of God has departed from the church. As contestable as this may sound, this work would furnish the reader with biblical evidences and true life stories which, at the end, leaves room for the reader to decide their position.
