God And Medical Science This little article is intended to prove that the word of God is real and God rules in the affairs of men he created. As he rules in heaven so is he on Earth. And in the aspect of medical sciences God rules as the Father of medical sciences. Generally speaking medical scientists are responsible for the healthcare of mankind unknown to them that the lord owned the body and also cares for the body. …but is intended] for the Lord, and the Lord [is intended] for the body [[a]to save, sanctify, and raise it again](1Corth.6:13bAmp.) It therefore suggest that God cares for the body because the body belongs to him. Hence these suggestions proved that God began medical sciences and he is a practical Medical scientist as in the few case below; NUTRITION: God is the chief nutritionist. When God formed man, he regulated his diet in the garden .moreso Daniel proposed in his heart never to defile himself with the king food (Dan 1:8) his diet was vegetables and he was more refreshed and healthy than others in the king’s palace. Now in Medical Science today, dieticians recommends herbs, fruits and vegetables etc. for proper nourishment of the body and building of Heamoglobin. God knew man needed blood, hence he gave man diet rich in blood, hence the earliest human beings lived longer and also the “junks” was not in existence. BLOOD TRANSFUSION: The idea of blood transfusion came from God when he gave blood to man, 'He gave blood and wants us to do same; life begot life. Also Jesus gave his life for us, that is he gave his blood for us, when we committed sin we were dead, but he gave his life for us. Blood means life, therefore you must not eat blood; for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof- Lev17:14(KJV). SURGERY: “And the lord caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept and God took one of his ribs and closed it up thereof…”(Gen2:21Kjv). The idea of surgery and surgery proper was from God, and he went into practical surgery by operating the first man. He caused man to sleep that means man did not sleep at his own will, he made him sleep when not natural and not knowing or seeing when the operation was done. Even today medical science uses the idea during surgical process by using Anesthetics to induce the patient to sleep before operation is carried out. ORTHOPEDIC: The rib that God took from the man to form the woman(Gen,2:21) gave room for orthopedic surgeon, who are responsible for mending bones. To me this is the origin of the Abiakpo people, a tribe in Israel known in Africa as Bone doctors Matt:1:7 the Abia or Abiakpo people. MID-WIVERY: “unto the woman he said, I will multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shall bring forth children…”Gen 3:17(KJV). The idea of midwifery came from God himself .Even as he has punished women through conception but in his Mercy arranged help through mid-wives to take care of the women and conception with God reward. Exo.1;19-21. PHARMACEUTICALS: Anesthetics: God made something that induced the man to sleep, who knows whether Adam took a particular food in the garden that induced him to sleep and God did what he wanted to do. Balm: is there no balm in Gilead, is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? (Jer 8:22 KJV). The children of Gilead took leaves from the trees to make balm for healing of wounds, which is also an aspect of pharmaceutics in today medical science. In conclusion, God is the father of medical science, but today scientist has neglected the God factor in medical science and that is why they failed even with much studies. According to the word of God in 2nd Corinth 2:6-12, real and perfect medical wisdom comes from God and we speak this because we know that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what God package for medical science Globally, but when medical scientist return to God as the number one medical scientist, he will reveal to them. Therefore I beseech all medical scientist should return to God through Jesus Christ who said, if you are sick meet a physician.
