Dr. Farrar came with an apostolic authority to destroy negative stronghold powers in Africa, he was able to bring back life like Paul the apostle. He broke an established African tradition which is not possible for someone from another culture to break which strongly backup with evil forces. But he came with holy spirit given Apostolic Authority and broke idols of Africa. Our people he commissioned did not emulate him due to their characters and the power of the holy spirit departed from us. This discourages him to depart from our country to his country. I was made a minister of God after I completed bible school, God miraculously proven that I am his minister by physical fire on the shrine. I was ministering at church of Christ Umekuri Ishiala Ngwa Ikekita. In that particular community, they had a shrine where their people on every Iketa market days go they and stay, pour wine all over the place, sacrifice to their gods. On that particular day, I went out for evangelism, stood in the market square and preach the gospel near their shrine. After the message, their priest said to me why do you preach such message in this place don’t you know we have our god who hear and answer our prayers, supplied all our need. I told him he is not God, the creator of heaven and earth but an artificial god to you and your people he completed I should come next week on that same market day and preach, their god will come out and I will physically see him if I overcome their god they would follow me. I went home and prepare myself seriously study the scripture, went into dry fasting for complete six day entering seven days which was that Iketa market day. When I returned to the church, someone came to me by 12:00pm, I should come and preach for them when I reach there God answered my prayer. As I prayed, I told God if that shrine is not the real God who created heaven and earth “let fire come from heaven and consume it”. As if God was waiting for me to pray,” Immediately God send fire from heaven into the shrine”. People saw physical fire burning the shrine and they give glory to God Almighty. After that miraculous event, the church of Christ at Ikekita began to grow, people that came into the church were giving testimonies of their deliverance, and healing. Before I left the church, they was population increase from about 30=40 to about three hundred members because of the miracles that happened at the shrine. This was the day I confirmed that I am a minister of God. Dr Uwakwe In recent time in Abia state in a quarter of the Church the Church of Christ whose doctrine never believe the Holy Spirit is working again. According to bro Levi Anyanwu a 68 year man, Bro Chima Job a 69 year old and bro Ndubisi Godwin of the church of Christ Umuorie village Abia state Nigeria. On the August 24, 2020 when I visited the people,they all in one consent said Dr. Henry Farrar was a man of God filled with the holy spirit.His last word before he left us in 2009 was prophetic,he said that, “if you don’t see me here again you will see me in heaven, I know I will be there but those of you who do good will be there”. It wasn’t long we were told he died. What We lost in the church of Christ is something bigger than Dr Farrar .Yes we lost him but we also lost with power of the Holy Spirit he came with to our land .here we are here without such power. There were times when he will looked at the sick in the hospital and said this case is not medical but spiritual, as he prayed and bring instructions the sick healed. According to Bro Levi Anyanwu how do we get the kind of holy spirit power back to the church of Christ globally is my sincere prayers.I know as an elder in the church who work with Farrar when he came to our land and founded the church,it was a church with power. Let me tell you, the church of Christ that Dr Farrar brought to Nigeria was a church with power of the holy spirit but now the power is no more, he was a man of power. We pray for the fire again in the church of Christ.
