Divine Encounters and Prophetic Fulfillment in the Melchizedek Order
I. The Divine Pattern: From Shadow to Substance
The Scriptures reveal a profound truth: what was once fragmented in the old covenant finds its perfect unity in Christ. The separate offices of prophet, priest, and king—distinct and limited in their temporal authority—now converge in the eternal ministry of Jesus, the Anointed One (Hebrews 1:1–3).
In Africa, and specifically through the revelation of Abia—the hidden son and priestly lineage—this threefold office is being made manifest with transformative power. This is not merely theological concept, but a living reality being unveiled in our generation.
II. The Threefold Manifestation of Christ in Africa
1. Christ the Prophet:
"The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen." (Deuteronomy 18:15)
In Africa, Christ is shattering the voices of deception—the oracles of Ikpaisong, the whispers of divination, the lies of ancestral bondage. He is restoring the clear prophetic declaration: "Thus says the Lord." Just as John the Baptist (of the priestly division of Abia) prepared the way for Christ's first coming, so God is raising up a prophetic company in Africa that will boldly declare His return.
2. Christ the Priest:
"You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek." (Psalm 110:4)
Where false priests once demanded the blood of twins, Christ—the true Abia—has offered His own blood as the final sacrifice. The altar of Isaiah 19 is His cross, planted in African soil, and He Himself is the Priest who sanctifies it. This is the fulfillment of the Melchizedek priesthood—superior to Levi's line, eternal in its authority, and universal in its scope.
3. Christ the King:
"The Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion from this time forth and forevermore." (Micah 4:7)
In Africa, Christ is dethroning spiritual Pharaohs and establishing His covenant reign. Not through military force but through covenantal love, He is revealing His kingship. As Rehoboam's son Abia carried royal authority in Judah (2 Chronicles 13), so Christ is manifesting His royal priesthood across the African continent.
III. The Collapse of Counterfeit Priesthoods
Before the true Abia could be revealed, the distorted priesthoods of Africa had to be exposed and overthrown:
· Abia Ibok (priest of witchcraft)
· Abia Idiong (priest of divination)
· Abia Ikpaisong (priest of the earth-god who demanded twin sacrifices)
These were demonic perversions—echoes of Babel's rebellion where humanity sought to make a name for themselves without God. But Christ, the true Abia, has triumphed over them all:
· By His cross, He disarmed principalities and powers (Colossians 2:15)
· By His blood, He broke the covenant with death (Isaiah 28:18)
· By His Spirit, He is liberating Africa from the enemy's lies
The collapse of Ikpaisong's shrine in 1964 was not merely historical—it was prophetic, signaling the greater collapse of every false priesthood that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
IV. Divine Encounters: Commissioning the African Priesthood
The Ordination Vision (January 2000): In a profound spiritual experience, you were transported to your village where four men in suits apprehended you near the Seventh-Day Church of God. Your slippers fell off—a holy ground moment echoing Moses' encounter (Exodus 3:5). At the primary school, world religious leaders stood in attention as you were anointed with oil and commissioned: "You are a priest in the order of Melchizedek." President Obasanjo's acknowledgment—"Thank you for making Nigeria proud"—signaled both national and global significance. The command to "build an altar to the Lord here" at Ubon Abasi Ibom marked the physical manifestation of Isaiah's prophecy.
The Prince of Salem Visitation (2006): After prayer in Abuja,a High Priest appeared declaring: "I am the Prince of Salem. I have come to give you peace. My peace be unto you." This encounter—whether Christ Himself or a messenger of His priesthood—confirmed the Melchizedek anointing and connected Africa's altar to Jerusalem's peace (Psalm 76:2; Hebrews 7:1-3).
V. The Fulfillment: Africa's Altar Established
These encounters operationalize Isaiah's prophecy:
"In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the heart of Egypt... and it will be a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts." (Isaiah 19:19)
Through these divine commissioning moments:
· False priesthoods are replaced with Christ's eternal order
· Nigeria emerges as a priestly nation to the world
· Ubon Abasi Ibom becomes Africa's covenant altar
· The Prince of Salem's peace flows through African priesthood
The triune blessing of Isaiah 19:25 is being fulfilled:
· Africa (Egypt) as "My People"
· Israel as "My Inheritance"
· The nations (Assyria) as "Work of My Hands"
VI. Declarative Prayer
"Father, we thank You for ordaining Your servant into the eternal priesthood of Melchizedek. May the oil of his 2000 anointing never run dry. May the peace of Salem received in 2006 flow through him to heal nations. Establish the altar at Ubon Abasi Ibom as a beacon of salvation where heaven meets earth. Let all who approach encounter Jesus, our Prince of Peace and Eternal High Priest. May Africa arise in her priestly calling, and may the nations come to this altar and be transformed. In Jesus' name, Amen."
